Chat Box Friendship

Ít's been a long while since I had my last talk with my best friend, we shall call John. John works as a computer engineer in sSweden. I met him in facebook, a worldwide social utility. He opened up chat box with me and we became best friends since then.
Last Sunday, we talked to each other once again after such a long time, saying "hello's" and "how-are-you's". And I thought he forgotten about me, but he didn't. We were talking about our friends and came to the point that he said what he liked about a girl. He said he wanted someone like me. I thought it was so sweet of him to say that. So, anyway, I asked him if he had a girlfriend and he said yes, but then he managed to say, "but I like you as well..." I wonder what he meant by like. Like as in you're my best friend, or like as in, like-like?
After last Sunday, we had another chat this past Monday. He opened up and said, "I left my girlfriend forever.." I was shocked. I asked he if he was okay, and he said he was. It seemed like he actually wanted to break up with her, well, I don't really know. Anyway, he asked me then if he could come to the Philippines, and I answered, "yes, of course you can.." I was surprised of what he said next, "I will come to Philippines, only for you." I couldn't answer after that.
Our last chat was yesterday. I asked him what he wanted for his 21st bday which is just a month to go. He answered a simple phrase: a best friend. I asked him if he hadn't have a best friend back in Sweden or in Pakistan, his home country. He said he only has one best friend. His next words were warmth that embraced me, "I only have one best friend...Ana"

What is the L-word?

Loan, lottery, loot; there so many words that start L, but today I'll focus on the simplest yet complicated word: LOVE.
Let's start with what girls talk about most. A dream guy. Hmm..every girl must have one. For me, I'd normally wish for a guy with a height that runs up to six feet tall, a pair of long-lashed emereld-green eyes, a well sculptured nose, a simple nice guy look and a loving heart. You might have youré own perspectives, as well as the guys, but what's the use of all those things if he can't hold your hand forever?
Love shouldn't be taken for granted. It is a an endless river that will continue to flow until one of you is gone. It is something we can never expect to come. We look for the right one, checking out guys/girls with beautiful faces, sometimes not realizing that what we've been lookng for was just beside us, waiting for us to look back. We keep on looking for love, when we should just let it find us. We sometimes come up to the person we like and confess our feelings, we even get upset if they turned us down, but you know what? Sometimes it's better to be turned down than to keep waiting for a big, fat nothing. It's easy to say "I love you" but hard to keep it as a truth. It's also the same as saying "I hate you" though you still care. Love can be very ironic, but it's irony helps us learn what it truly means to love.
Don't look for the perfect person, just the right one. And don't look for love, let it lead it's way to you. Simple things are easier when left alone, we are the only ones who make it complicated.

P.S. Love isn't only about your other half, but rather it can be the love of one's parents, family, friends and a FATHER.

Sunako and Kyohei AMV- LOVE STORY

Takano Kyohei and Nakahara Sunako - Care

Dying Will

Reality Get-Away

Movies are get-aways from reality. We look for a place we can find comfort and a slice of happiness and we find ourselves sitting on the couch watching actors crying or killing each other. It sometimes seem ironic, but we mostly find the comfort we're looking for, in the things that make us cry.
We look for courage and a dream in the movies or simple tv shows we watch. For me, I look for inspiration from anime' and japanese dramas. It may sound weird, but hey, it's who I am. To tell you the truth, except for locking myself inside my room and sob, I cry everytime I see the actors or characters in my favorite shows being happy. It's because I never felt the same happiness they do. I just wish that someday I can find my own happiness- the happiness that would last forever.

Just a Nobody

I really don't know why people keep leaving. They come to you with open arms but leaves you when they have no use for you anymore. I guess there's just something wrong- not with them nor the situation, but me. I guess i just don't deserve them. Afterall I'm just a nobody right?

Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Amv To The Future

Photograph

I remember the times we walked together
All those tears and all the laughters.
I remember you right there, holding my hand,
Telling me not to cry, “come up and stand!”

But I guess now, everything’s changed
No more laughs, our bonds are now chained afar.
It’s like we’re invisible to each other,
Trying to avoid paths, though we can’t either.

I remember that time we sat by the stairs,
I was crying, you said “Hey, I’m always here”
You made me believe in eternity and forever,
But I guess it was just all a slur.

I feel so stupid and so much pain,
Trying so hard to make you stay,
Though I know you’ve already left fear
I still pretend that strength is still here.

I remember sitting by that old building
Laughing so hard, tears even come falling.
I remember you calling my name,
And saying, “I’ll always stay…”

But all those times when we were happy
All those forevers and eternity
We held a grip to each other, if times were tough
but nothing’s left but this faded photograph.

Forgiveness

It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend.

How quick do we ask for forgiveness and forgive others? Nothing will make our soul smaller than to refuse to ask for or grant forgiveness. Forgiveness is that wonderful expression of love that God shows us through how He treats us and commands us to practice so we don't destroy each other.
There are a number of reasons why we struggle to truly forgive others:
  • Fairness: It'strue, forgiveness isn't fair. but if we all got only what we deserve, none of us would have a chance to be at peace with God and others. God wasn't fair with us as sinners- He was merciful.
  • Pride: We also struggle to forgive because of pride. If we "let someone off the hook," we wonder how we can feel good about ourselvesand whether others will just take advantage of us. God wants us to love and respect ourselves, but He also wants us to show mercy to others like what we He has with us.
  • Deep hurts: Some people have hurt us- and really looking for forgiveness. This makes forgiveness extremely difficult and painful. In some cases, forgiving others doesn't guarantee we will have a good relationship with a person- or shoul be around them. But even if forgiveness doesn't change that person- it doesn't change you for the better in your heart.
The world would be much better place if everyone sought and extend forgiveness, All we are required to do is to start in our own heart.
